In these days where people are very busy with their life and their work, they hardly concentrate on their health and their body. The problem with people is that they don’t give too much attention on their body unless they starts to feel pain and problem are arising such as when they find difficulty moving and the pain that they feel interfere with their work. Most people today experience back pain – in fact, almost 90 percent of people experience back pain at some point of their life. They might not experience back pain now but might be later. Back pain doesn’t occur instantly – it occurs due to excessive repetition of movements that leads to injuries or muscles getting stressed. Most commonly, people do this movements and actions without them knowing at all. One perfect example is sitting on your office chair for longer hours. You might think that you are not making yourself prone to back pain but the truth is, you are.
Apart from sitting on your office chair, working under uncomfortable environment can also make the people experience back pain. People whose job is to stand on extended period of time also allow them to stress their muscles and in return can make you experience back pain. A person experiencing back pain may feel uncomfortable and get irritated easily. It might also starts to annoy them and make them unproductive. While some people treat the pain immediately and consult with their doctors, there are also some people who ignore the pain and just shrug it off with one thing on their mind – the pain will subside later and they just have to let it be. However, as times goes by, they feel that the pain grows worst and intense each passing day and that’s the time they tend to get alarmed. When this happen, its either too late for them to deal with the problem or they have to pay for it heavily literally speaking.
When we say pay heavily, it means that the back pain can no longer be cured by some treatments done at home but required surgery already. This is a scary situation for most people because surgery can only mean one thing – the pain is beyond simple causes and requires complicated solution aside from the fact that surgery is quite expensive. However, before you get scared yourself due to the thought of having a surgery, here are some alternative back pain relief method and treatment.
BACK PAIN TREATMENTS
For people with back pain, treatments sound like heaven to them especially if they have been dealing with the pain for quite some time now. A person with back pain only seeks one thing – back pain relief. However, you have to make sure that you get the right method applicable and effective for you. Below are the lists of few back pain treatments that you can implement.
A cortisone injection is used by doctors after a woman has given birth to a child. This helps them deal with the pain after child birth since we all know how painful this condition is. However, this not been proved to work properly for people experiencing back pain – but almost 50 percent of people injected with cortisone shots experience back pain relief. When you consider this treatment, consult with your doctor first. Cortisone shots might not be the thing for you especially that this treatment doesn’t come for free – it always accompanied by side effects that might be harmful and detrimental to your health.
Heat is known to block pain signal and this has been the fundamental theory for this treatment. Our brain process all the information that it receives so the moment our nerves sends off pain signals, the brain will process it and that will be the time we feel pain. Fortunately, our brain can also process one signal at a time and the pain signal is the least signal that our brain process so when you put heat signals, the pain signals will not be acknowledged. Heat also makes your blood circulation get back to normal and helps in healing with your damage nerves and tissues.
Exercise is proved to make your muscles stronger and flexible. The William exercises for back pain is an exercise develops by Dr. Paul William in 1937. This exercise targets the back pain problems and aims to address the sciatica issue. The good thing with Williams Exercise is that it is easy to do and targets off the area that are prone to back pain. There are many William Exercises that you can do and perform such as:

When your body feels pain, it sends off pain signals to your brains through the positive charge ions. Magnetic therapy fundamentals tells us that it uses negative charged ions to blocked off positive charge ions on reaching the brains. These magnets may be in the form of belts – thus magnetic belts for back pain are used. You can use the belt by covering the sore area of your back.
There are many methods or treatments that you can use to help you deal with back pain issues. However, you have to make the first initial step – consult first with your doctor before you proceed and use some of the above mention treatments.
