One of the most common pains that many people encounter in their life is the hip pain. Our hips are one of the most important parts of our body. It makes us walk, run, stand and almost everything that concerns moving.  Today, many people don’t recognize the importance of the hips and its usefulness in our daily living especially that these days, people are exceedingly mobile. We can go across the world at a moment’ notice, check our emails on our phones. We can hop in our car and be in another state in five hours. Really, the technology today allows us to go anywhere we want and anytime we want. We don’t have to keep walking to get into a certain place and put our risk at hips. But did you know that even with this technology surrounding the people today, many of still deal with hip pain. Most of the time, hip pain attacks us when we are moving or when we are in an activity.

Hip pain at day is very common among people especially to those people who are always on the go. The mere fact that you are moving is enough bases that you are at risk to hip pain. What people don’t know is that when we are standing, we are already exposing ourselves to hip pain due to the fact that we are enabling our hips to support our weight. It might be true that our back also carries our weight but our back is more concerned on balancing our weight especially the weight in the front area and all other weight concerned matters goes down to hip area. There are many reason why we suffer hip pain at day – people also encounters hip pain at night but since movements is the primary reason on why we experience body pain such as hip pain, then apparently, hip pain at day is just about the right thing to talk about – at day, we are constantly moving while at night, we do still moves but those are minor movements when compared to the day’s movement.

First and foremost, you have to understand what the cause of hip pain is at day. When you do this, you might just give yourself the best credit. Knowing the cause of the pain will help you understand the pain itself and allows you to come up with a good treatment that you can do for yourself and have yourself a pain relief.

Causes of Hip Pain at Day

There are many causes of hip pain and sometimes because it’s wide varieties, some people find it hard to pin point the cause of the hip pain. Here are some causes of hip pain that you can associate with yourself.

Causes of hip pain when walking

  • Arthritis – one of the major causes of hip pain when walking is the inflammation of the joints or commonly known as arthritis. For people having this condition, they should not worry too much because fortunately, there are number of treatments that you can do to get pain relief. However, when most of the treatments that you can implement such as medicines and physical exercises do not work, then hip replacement surgery is done – this is to completely cure the arthritis in the hip joints.
  • Hip Bone fracture – We get hip bone fractured due to accidents or when you exert strain on the hips frequently. The latter cause is more found in athletes especially to those who are long distance runners – they are more exposed to muscles strain. The best thing that you can do to avoid hip pain cause by walking is to stop the activity itself. This is why rest is very important as it can play a big part in healing and treating hip pain.
  • Inflammation of Bursa – when the fluid filled sacs gets inflamed or fade away as time goes by, this will be the time that you feel pain in your hip joints because the two bones are now touching each other. A direct fall on the sides of the hip, repetitive movements, and underlying surgical wire or implants in the hip may lead to inflammation of the bursa. This condition is another major cause of joint pain when you walk.
  • Discolations of the Hips – in cases like the hip joint doesn’t develop properly or the hips are dislocated, and then this condition is called dysplasia. This condition can be sited as early as when a person is still an infant or in early stages of their development. This condition might not be painful during childhood years but it may later on develop into arthritis and can cause hip pain.
  • Strain on the muscles – due to overstretching, our muscles get strained and this can cause pain in our hips. People who love sports are of greater risk of developing this condition.
  • Inflammation of tendons – you can get this condition when you injured yourself and undergone repetitive strain on the tendons surrounding your hips. This condition is commonly known as tendonitis.
  • Improper Blood Flow – when there is not enough blood flow to the area of the bones, a condition known as osteonecrosis occurs. The main cause of this condition is due to steroid medications, alcohol use and increase pressure inside the bones. Other medication such as chemotherapy and organ transplantation can increase this condition.
